Ondas' stock rallies as it secures $10M in new defense orders

Ondas Holdings (ONDS) said on Wednesday that it has secured $10 million in new purchase orders from critical infrastructure operators and government security customers.
The orders are being made across its autonomous systems portfolio, including counter-UAS (unmanned aircraft system) solutions, integrated autonomous drone systems and robotic ground platforms.
Ondas provides autonomous aerial and ground robot intelligence through its Ondas Autonomous Systems (OAS) business unit and private wireless solutions through its Ondas Networks unit.
"2025 has been a defining year for Ondas, with record results, expanding customer programs, and clear validation of our multi-domain autonomy strategy," Ondas chairman and CEO Eric Brock said in a statement.
"These new orders underscore the sustained, global demand we are seeing for autonomous air and ground systems and advanced counter-UAS capabilities.”
The Boston-based company has been aggressively expanding its reach beyond the US this year, which includes securing two separate $8.2 million orders from "a major European security authority" at two international European airports.
The latest one, which was awarded in December, calls on Ondas to deploy multiple Iron Drone Raider counter-UAS systems at an airport in Europe.
The company did not identify the security authority nor the airports where the systems are being deployed.
"Governments and critical infrastructure operators are turning to Ondas for solutions that deliver mission assurance at scale," Brock added. "With one of the strongest balance sheets in the industry and a broadening technology and operating platform, we are well positioned to build on this momentum into 2026 and beyond."
Shares of Ondas gained 8.6% on Wednesday. The stock soared 281.3% in 2025.
Ondas also announced last month that it had been selected as a prime contractor for "a major development and commercialization program" that will be undertaken on behalf of "a major governmental entity."
The program calls for Ondas to develop and integrate a full-scale drone-based autonomous border-protection system that will operate across both fixed and mobile environments.
The company said that the first purchase is expected to be made in January for the first phase of what will be a multi-phase project. Financial details behind the contract were not disclosed.
"The market is rapidly shifting toward integrated autonomous capabilities that fuse air, ground, sensing, and cyber technologies into a single operational framework," Oshri Lugassy, co-CEO of Ondas Autonomous Systems, said in a statement.
"Ondas is one of the few companies able to deliver this System of Systems approach, linking autonomous ISR drones, intelligent sensors, robotic ground systems, and advanced counter-UAS into a unified ecosystem."
Ondas also focused on scaling its business in 2025, making a $35 million investment in November in Performance Drone Works (PDW), a manufacturer of advanced robotics for the defense sector that focuses on building UAS used in combat missions.
A day later, the company announced that it was acquiring Roboteam Holdings, a manufacturer of tactical unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) that are used for a range of defense operations.
Ondas expects Roboteam to add $3 million to $4 million in revenue to the fourth quarter in 2025 and is projecting $30 million in revenue from the acquisition in 2026.
